I have been eating this for years and it's just awesome. Some find it a bit to hard, (everyone will have their own opinions). I bought this via amazon's subscribe & save for many months (possibly 1 or 2 years). Then they no longer sold it via their subscribe and save department.. It was sold in packages of 6 for a little over $17.00. Now here it is being sold in same said department for $5+ per box. This is not a bargain. I get them at Target on sale at 2 for $5. Or at my store on sale for 2 for $6. I even tried adding banana slices, to try to cover up the bland taste. By itself, it tastes a bit like eating brown corrugated cardboard. I kept thinking that it might be something better suited to being used as animal feed for cows or horses. This is something that you have to force yourself to eat. I don't like wasting food, and if the box were any bigger, I would have just mixed the remaining cereal into the birdseed barrel, and used it to fill the bird feeder. I ended up mixing it 50/50 with Rice Krispies, to make it more edible. The only good thing that I can say about this GOLEAN cereal, is that it stands up to milk reasonably well without becoming soggy. Unfortunately, this GOLEAN cereal is not something that I would buy again. I gave it two stars.
