FYI, if you buy this granola specifically for The Plan, you only get 3 servings from one bag if you are a woman, and 2 servings if you are a man (The Plan guidelines allow for 1 cup granola for women and 1.5C for men). The bag states "12 servings" in several places, which equates to approx 1/4C. I thought it was important to note this for those of us doing The Plan - you'll want to buy as much as you need and not scramble at the last minute! That being said, I love this granola and look forward to it in the mornings with blueberries and coconut milk. I've made it myself according to the Plan recipe, but it's yummier if you buy it from Columbia County - theirs is crunchier and more toasted. 9 of 9 people found the following review helpful By This review is from: Fruit & Berry Flax-Granola 12 oz (Misc.) This granola is delicious, low sugar, filling and approved on The Plan, a big plus. I tried making it several times but the taste and texture left a lot to be desired. My husband said my homemade version was quite possibly one of the worst things he had ever eaten.I'm now in the third phase of The Plan so only eat a 1/4 cups mixed with other cereals. This, plus the time saved helps justify the cost. I had to power through getting used to eating a cup a day during the beginning phase of The Plan. Now I look forward to the days I eat it. If you're following the plan, you can lower the cost per serving by ordering the trio and perhaps mixing it with a homemade version While somewhat off topic, I strongly endorse The Plan. If you love veggies, fruits, nuts, seeds, etc., I highly recommend Lyn Genet's book. I've lost 11 lbs in a month, lowered my blood pressure enough to eliminate meds, and all while not exercising because of a broken... Read more |

Product Description
As Lyn's client list grew, she soon discovered that more and more of her clients had issues with nuts. Can you make your flax granola without nuts, Lyn asked us one day. Of course, why not, we said and our new, Fruit & Berry Flax Granola was born. We worked from a base of water, molasses and cinnamon then mixed in golden and brown flax and sunflower seeds, raisins, currants and cranberries. This version was so wildly popular with Lyn's clients, it became the basis for the Plan Package. CCB & G's Fruit & Berry Flax Granola. Nut free, vegan friendly, Paleo friendly, gluten free and grain free. No honey. No salt and no preservatives. Like our Cranberry Walnut, Fruit & Berry is simple, good for you and tastes great. Plus, if you check the product images, you'll see this granola actually helped the editor of Ladie's Home Journal drop 50 points off her cholesterol count. Amazing! Sold in 12 oz bags.
